FAQ
What is Tanglaw anyway? Is it a school, an organization, a club? And what is a university center?
Nope, Tanglaw is not a school nor a university but yes, it is under a non-profit organization. The Center is more of a venue for enriching activities for young people, where students and yuppies can spend time studying, meeting people, learning and having fun.
How do I join Tanglaw? Is there membership fee? Or are the activities free?
Many of the talks, seminars and classes are free, while a few have a minimal fee to support the upkeep of the Center and fund its activities.
Is Tanglaw open for every one?
Students and young professional women can get involved, especially if they want to develop their abilities and serve others.
What is the difference between Tanglaw and orgs in college?
Organizations usually cater to niche interests and specializations. Tanglaw’s aim is to develop future leaders not just to be humanly well-rounded, but also intellectually and spiritually grounded and with a sense of responsibility and concern for others.
I have friends with different interests, are there activities we can join or clubs we can help out in?
Definitely! In Tanglaw, there are always venues for individuals who value experiences, are open to new discoveries and want to make good use of their time. #
